Meghan Markle Is Reportedly in New York City for a Girls’ Trip
Meghan Markle is already in the US, a couple of months before her and Prince Harry4 tour. Reports have it that the Duchess of Sussex is already in New York, where she will be spending five days with her girlfriends.
Sources close to the Duchess say that the trip is entirely personal, and she is taking her time to meet up with friends ahead of the birth of her baby which is scheduled for ending of April or the early part of May. Meghan came into New York just last Friday, after Valentine’s day, and she is spending quality time with her friends, shopping and eating good food.
Sources say that the trip has been in the pipes for some time now. One source mentioned, “The trip is just to catch up with some of her friends, and enjoy their company in a city she is very fond of. This will be like the last time they see her before she puts to birth, so for all of them it is just a wonderful time together.”
The Duchess of Sussex is currently residing at a five-star hotel, and she was seen this past Saturday at Ladurée in Soho, enjoying tea and macarons. She was also spotted at Bonpoint, a premium children’s clothing store, according to Us Weekly.
A source said the entire visit “has been relaxing and worth it.”
After her five days stay, Meghan will return to London, before joining her Husband in Morocco for an official 3-day royal visit
